FIELD GUIDE / FIRST TRANSMISSION

Build your signal.
Leave a legacy.

ZeroSpace Radio is a free social idle game about building an underground broadcast network among the stars. Start with a single orbital outpost, sign virtual contracts with social profiles, and compete to grow your empire.

Contracts are game pieces. They never give anyone rights over a real person, their account or their content. Being listed does not imply participation or endorsement.

Your First Broadcast

  1. Open the game and connect X to enter its galaxy. Your connected username becomes your default broadcaster name; you can customize it.
  2. Start at Low Orbit with 1,000 credits and one seat. Sign an affordable profile, then assign it to that seat. If affordable profiles are scarce, hire non-tradable House Crew to earn starting income.
  3. Use credits to improve your outpost or profile. At outpost level 5, you can purchase a second seat. Check the requirements shown on each upgrade before saving for it.
  4. Come back to collect idle earnings and reinvest. Other players can poach your contracts, so compare improving your outposts with strengthening the profiles you hold.
TRANSMISSION 01

Getting Started

You begin with Low Orbit outpost, level 1, one seat, and 1000 credits. Low Orbit and The Relay have gentler upgrade prices. Later outposts become progressively more expensive, so early expansion is quicker and later investment needs more planning. Upgrade it to L5 to buy your second seat. Sign an unclaimed L0 profile to fill the seat. Every profile starts at the same 120-credit value. Occupied seats generate passive credits; empty seats can be clicked for base payouts.

TRANSMISSION 02

Profiles & Contracts

Profiles are your assets. Sign them to own, or poach them from other players. You can hold any number of contracts without seats, subject to having enough credits. Unseated contracts can be upgraded and poached; assign them to a seat to generate passive outpost income. All profiles at the same level have the same contract price and upgrade cost. Poaching raises the profile's level by 1 and costs its current price. The previous owner gets 90% of the price.

TRANSMISSION 03

Leveling & Hall of Fame

Profiles level up via poaching or manual upgrade (costs credits). At level 50, the profile is recycled to level 0 and unclaimed. Example: level 49 upgrade => HOF rank 1 / profile unclaimed level 0. Repeat four times => HOF rank 4. If you earn 12 HOF entries, only ten highest ranks boost your earnings.

TRANSMISSION 04

Poaching Mechanics

To poach, pay the profile's current price. Example: sale 1000 => seller 900 cash + 100 score fee. The buyer pays the listed price to get the profile; immediate poach-back is allowed.

TRANSMISSION 05

Idle Earnings & Till

Active income goes straight into your wallet. Switching tabs, leaving the window or going 60 seconds without input makes you idle; income then waits in the credit and Resonance tills until you collect it. If your connection disappears, the last activity lease expires within 15 seconds. Idle earnings are capped at eight accumulated hours until you return.

TRANSMISSION 06

Outpost Progression & Seats

Each outpost has up to 5 seats. The first seat is included when an outpost opens. Additional seats require specific outpost levels: the second seat needs Outpost L5, the third needs L12, the fourth needs L22, and the fifth needs L35. Each additional seat also requires a purchase cost in the appropriate currency. You can only unlock the next outpost if your previous one is at least level 22, has at least four seats (three occupied), and you have paid the full unlock price.

TRANSMISSION 07

Advanced Outposts & Resonance

After founding the Intergalactic Broadcast Network, advanced outposts unlock. They generate Resonance (prestige currency) in addition to regular credits. Unlocks, upgrades and seats for advanced outposts cost Resonance exclusively. Each outpost can reach L50. Later outposts have substantially higher upgrade costs. Each upgrade raises that outpost’s income by 20% and its next upgrade cost by 45%. Filled seats and profile levels improve earnings further. Artist upgrades still cost regular credits.

TRANSMISSION 08

Prestige Reset

Prestiging resets your station: all outposts, seats, upgrades, and network access are reset, contracts are released, and you start at Low Orbit with 1000 credits. The first prestige requires 45 million Resonance. Prestige never resets your Hall of Fame entries or lifetime score.

TRANSMISSION 09

Legacy Earnings

Your earnings are boosted by your prestige count and the strongest ten Hall of Fame entries for your empire. Each cycle at level 50 adds a permanent rank that improves future income.

TRANSMISSION 10

Galaxies & Leaderboards

Each galaxy has its own economy and leaderboard. Lifetime score = Gross Regular Earnings - Resale Fees. Top 25 players are shown per galaxy. Central page shows top 5 per galaxy. Leaderboards also has Season and Past Seasons tabs. Seasons last 28 days and require an explicit join. They start a separate empire with 1,000 credits and no permanent prestige or Hall of Fame bonuses. Seasonal progress survives its own prestiges but ends with the season. Standings and top-three commemorative titles are archived; titles grant no earnings bonus. Joining late leaves less time. Permanent empires are never reset by seasons.

TRANSMISSION 11

Security & Identity

Profiles use provider pictures if available, otherwise letter avatars. Local test profiles are labeled fictional. No account merging based on usernames. The X galaxy requires a verified X sign-in. Public handles can be added through Contract Radar once configured.

Choose Your Next Move

A stronger profile boosts the seat where it performs. A stronger outpost improves that stage’s earnings, and additional seats let more profiles contribute. Holding an unseated contract does not generate passive outpost income, although another player can poach it and pay you your share.

Prestige and Hall of Fame bonuses build a lasting legacy in your permanent empire. For a fresh competition, explicitly join the current season: it has its own starting economy, standings and deadline. Seasons do not erase your permanent progress.
